As it says on the sidebar, the purpose of this blog is to provide a glimpse into the life of an academic-in-formation, and especially to share my struggles to see God's gracious providence at work in my developing vocation and beyond.

I started A Wonderful Providence in June, 2011, as a way to inform my family and friends of what's going on in my academic life and beyond. While many of my posts have to do with my graduate work, I sometimes review books, or sort through faith-related questions or challenges that I've been thinking about. Somewhat to my surprise, however, the most popular post on the blog remains this one. :-)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
